Tutorial: Twist Out Bang with Fluffy Afro

I am getting to like the natural hair twist out bang. It can jazz up any style and it is very versatile. I have even worn it while having the rest of my head wrapped, and I dare say it looks professional as well.

If you looked at my previous video where I wore the bang with a headwrap, I did indicate that there was a second style that I could rock with this twist out bang. Well, this is that style. Instead of wrapping the back of my hair, I use a fairly wide headband to secure the back.

My hair started off in big, chunky twists at the back, just 'home' twists, you know - those that aren't parted neatly. I used my fingers to make the parts. A small section at the front of my hair was initially twisted in four two-strand twists, but I combined all of these twists (without combing them out) into one big twist. What this did was it helped to keep the definition of the individual twists even though I had combined them into one.

I added a bit of Jamaican Black Castor Oil to my bang first, and re-twisted it, then moved on to the rest of my hair where I also applied a small amount of this amazing oil to the length and ends of my hair. I undid my chunky twists and used a wide-toothed comb to fluff it out to my liking.

At the end, I untwisted my bang, and voila!
