Hi, my name is Shonta., and I am a Caribbean island native. My country is known as the "Spice Island of the Caribbean" because of its numerous herbs & spices.

My natural hair journey began in September 2014 while I was pursuing my Bachelor Degree in Special Needs Education. This was after about 18 years of chemical relaxer applications. to my hair. I have had a few speed bumps along the way, but I really am enjoying my natural hair journey and I hope that you are too!!
If you aren't, is it because you are making the mistakes that I did when I just embarked on my journey? If so, I hope to help you find utmost satisfaction from being a 'natural'.
